About

Making solar buying decisions transparent

SolarAtlas exists to make solar buying decisions more transparent through data, research, and industry intelligence.

India's rooftop and C&I solar market is growing quickly, but the information available to buyers hasn't kept pace. Most of what's published online is written by EPCs, lenders, or marketplaces with a direct financial stake in the decision a buyer makes.

SolarAtlas is built to sit outside that conflict. We research EPCs, financing structures, and market trends, and publish what we find — directories, calculators, and analysis — without operating a marketplace, running quote comparisons, or taking a cut of any transaction.

The long-term goal is straightforward: become the most trusted reference point for anyone trying to understand India's solar ecosystem, whether they're a homeowner evaluating their first quote or an analyst tracking the C&I financing market.

Independent data

We aren't owned by an EPC, lender, or manufacturer. Our directories and research are built independently.

Original research

We publish analysis on financing structures, ROI, and EPC evaluation grounded in how the Indian market actually works.

No transaction conflicts

We don't sell leads, run a marketplace, or take commissions on installations — so our information isn't shaped by what converts.

Have data, research, or corrections to share?

We're building this in the open and want SolarAtlas to be as accurate as possible.
